tbh i'm kinda glad one of the higher ups is owning up to the stuff that happened against minorities, even though he may not be responsible for it. i think this is def the first step to a better relationship between communities and their police force. this is kinda hard to hear especially after the whole war on drugs and prison economies have thrived off of minority incarceration. Hopefully things will improve for everyone in this country, now that people of power are finally speaking out against it.

At least now BLM will be happy and won't have to keep looting stores and burning cars.
