Author Topic: #SavePepe - Pepe's Creator, Matt Furie, Calls For Positive, Anti-Hate Pepes  (Read 1583 times)

my friends, now is the time for direct action to reclaim pepe. the fight begins today

#SavePepe
#MakePepeGreatAgain

tumblr already tried this

we saw where that went

tumblr already tried this
if anybody did it was maybe a handful of people. I'VE never seen anybody do it
we saw where that went
no, not really

Too funny to be real

Right

We need to band together, rewrite Pepe and
Make Pepe Great Again

also giving it this kind of attention is exactly just what creates even more glory for this frog meme

its just adding fuel to the fire

Right
i hope, this has gotten so ridiculous to points i could have never imagined

not really. the creator of the comic will be publicly advertising and bringing attention to the artists who make nice pepes, which is far more conducive to progress than some losers on r9k or pol trying to keep up the trend of garbage pepes by posting the same tired old spinoff of a meme they ruined

these are pure pepes, these are righteous pepes, and they will prevail

i still will not accept that he was lost to begin with.

I need your help making positive pepe the frog memes to battle against evil trolls:

Please make an image of a black man loving my wife and send it to me

I'm not sure if you're trolling/being wrong ironically but the pepe meme originated on /r9k/. Tumblr got a hold of it and normalized it among edgy 15 year old attention seeking girls and it quickly got recycled onto instagram and facebook to be used in ghetto memes. Pepe was and always will be an r9k meme.

Nobody would know or give a forget about the artist, or anything he's ever drawn, if r9k didn't turn pepe into a "hate symbol"

Remember kids. Hillary pushed for this because Donald Annoying Orange tweeted a pepe image.

She turned pepe into a hate symbol just to get one up on the Annoying Orange.

1. matt furie's work is way better than the meme
2. the cycle goes more like this:
matt furie creates good content -> 4chan creates meme -> spreads to tumblr -> becomes a cool and hip symbol for the Teens -> matt furie gains recognition for his cool meme -> 4chan destroys the meme in a jealous fit of rage -> becomes associated with neonational socialists -> a new era of good and righteous pepes is called upon by mr. furie himself

I'd say you were trolling until I realized that this is just an incredibly average Kimon tier perspective of the world

Hiding behind irony doesn't change the fact that you're just blatantly wrong lol

I mean, there were literally tons of tribal pepe memes before the presidential race started
but sure, yeah, you're totally right

yeah those were totally serious memes

why even use the swastika or the white hoods or whatever the loving hell you used to use to display how more powerful/superior you are when you have pepe the goddamn loving frog
