my dad isn't answering his phone

whenever my dad goes on long trips I get super forgetin paranoid that he left us or something bad happened to him. not that anything bad ever happens to him, its just I always get really worked up over when he for some reason:

turns off his phone
puts me straight to voicemail
doesn't call back
gives me a huge headache

I know he is fine and he always comes back and all but for some reason he decides to do the things above only when he is on a trip. He isn't at anything important right now and he normally goes to bed around 10, so I don't have loving clue why he isn't answering. It just gets me paranoid and stressed out and I loving hate it.

You're mostly likely overreacting. It usual takes some time for my parents to get back to me after I try to contact them, because they're busy with whatever.
