Why is Overwatch using up so much of my disk space

Why is Overwatch using nearly 3 times its recommended amount of hard drive space? I don't have any mods installed (do any even exist for this game?) and I really just dont see how it uses up so much loving space

It's not a problem for me, and I use a WD Black 1TB, i think thats as modern as it'll get for a hdd

Could just be blizzard's bloated update system. Doubt it though because I'm sure other people would've piped up about it.

which i dont get maybe most people these days have a 1tb hdd and havent really noticed? idk i just cant think of any other reason

mine only takes up 15 gb

i know for sure it re-downloads the whole game when hearthstone gets an update
it may be the same case here, but the files dont overwrite/delete

Try un-installing and re-installing Overwatch and see if that fixes it
