I'm not an expert on glue removal but it probably greatly depends on what type it is

Get some carpet foam and spray a high concentration of it on the glue spot. Wipe it off after letting it sit for about 30 minutes. Repeat process if further cleaning is required. That stuff will clean any type of carpet stain.

if you have some concentrated cleaner, that'll work.

you can also mix dish soap, vinegar, and warm water. it removes stains off of shirts and stuff so it might remove glue off of carpet

Alright, if that doesnt work ill get some nail polish remover.
