but i'm ok with seeing most people do it but if they like do it and try to sound more formal in some other way it just comes off as pretentious

i think the best post sentence formation is toooo post with lots of ffeelling to give off what kind of VOICE you're giving to the uh world around you, Whether it's sarcastic or Formal or not

People who call themselves "intellectuals" tend to be the ones who type like this at all times. It makes them feel smarter and superior to everyone around them using incorrect or non-consistent grammar.
