ok what r u ideas

Well, I'm glad you asked.

Step One:
More building oriented Mini-games!

Right now, most blockland mini-games consist of controlled environments that are based off of death match type games. But blockland is unique in the sense that you can build and destroy your own creations. Games like Trench Wars, and Build to Survive show what great unique things can be done with blockland that cannot be done elsewhere. And while we do have a handful of gamemodes that do this, some of them are old and broken gamemodes. Most of our common gamemodes today consist of, Jail RP, Medieval RP, Falling Tiles, the ocasional Creeper, "Slopes" Team Deathmatch, and Knife TDM just to name a few. But these gamemodes are repetitive, and even more repetitive are the building mini-games because there are so few, and rarely do they appear. As someone else said earlier in this thread, most players go and browse the server list, if they don't see something they like, or something new, they leave the game and go do something else. There are tons of mini-games that haven't been created yet, here let me name a few ideas.

Event - Demo CTF
This game is an event based minigame, in which you use events to protect your own base, and attempt to enter the opposite teams base in under 150 bricks per player. Both teams bases are across a gap with only a broken bridge connecting the two. This can be done and controlled through the admin events add-on, and another custom add-on that I have seen before, but I forgot who made it, but he said it was relatively easy to make.

Suburban RPG
Much like City RPG, this minigame would need some heavy coding to be done, but unlike City RPG, it wouldn't have to be a total cluster forget. A Suburban RPG can have places for people to build their homes, and you get started off with enough money to build a single house baseplate, or buy a pre-built home. From there you have to go out and get a job to do, anything from working at a local fast food place, to running a local business. Suburban RPGs can be spaced out a hell of a lot more, and having roads that lead to nowhere won't look so bad since you it could just look like you haven't expanded outward in that direction. While this does seem almost identical to City RPGs, the one main issue with city RPGs is that they are usually ugly, and need to have builds destroyed, but in this a player with a construction worker job could build streets outward, with the town's (admin) permission.

Survive the Night!
Every player starts out with a 16x16 baseplate to build their house, or place of safety on, players cannot go past their 16x16 boundary, but they can build as high as they wish. at Night waves of zombies and other enemies will try and enter your house, their guns can break any brick! so build high, and build well, but beware, if an enemy breaks the last brick holding up a building, the rest of the building will collapse! Wrenches are disabled, and baseplates cannot be destroyed.

Guide the Lost!
In this gamemode obstacles will block your path as you guide unarmed travelers (who cannot build.) to safety. (this means there are three teams, builders, obstacle players and travellers). Whether it be theives and murderers or just the life around you, you must build to protect your travellers!

Medieval Event TDM
There are Two Teams, equipped with only medieval weapons and the tools to create, they must protect themselves, as well as conquer the other team! Events need to be restricted.

Break the barrier!
Locked in a false environment, you are equipped with the means to escape, and build to reach the one behind this! While he has the hands on the limited controls, you hold the power of creation! (this will require two teams, one with an over looker, and other with the people attempting to escape!)

Step Two will come in a separate post, but the idea of this is:

Yeah, most of it are just uninteresting giant paragraphs.

matthew why don't you make those mini-games instead of being a whiny complainer

Number One:
I Can't Code.

Number Two:
I Can't run servers.

lol
If you had read some of what my other post said, you would know some of my recommendations require some basic coding understanding.

Suburban RPG could be made with simple VCE

i love how some people still complain about an update that happened about four years ago

Yeah, maybe you're right, maybe we should just let decisions that are this bad stand, I mean, we're only the people paying for it, who cares what the quality is :/

You bought it, not our fault you're not enjoying it. Maybe you should just leave if you can't stand the awful quality
