i have seen it and from my point of view it's just another stupid show that cn makes to keep it's dead channel alive. turner broadcasting is smart because they pull in all the stupid kids to tune into their channels

i hate the show because of the premise and atmosphere, but it's fantastic from a technical and artistic standpoint so it shouldn't be too hard to understand why people like it
the characters' genders shouldn't matter or something too

Agreed. I was just saying that because B.I.G was saying some incorrect stuff. The show is kind of annoying in my opinion, but hating because of your prejudice is just grating to me.

since I was late to the party on the thread, I figured Id send you my opinion, you and I share conservative views, at least from what i've seen. I don't agree with Sjw's on almost anything, and I can see clearly that steven universe peddles the ideas of sjwness in the way that sjws should in a perfect world. They make the hints at what they believe subtle enough that it doesn't steal the spotlight away from the story and characters. I just think its a funny lighthearted show with a good animation style and a great sense of appealing to most any audience, I can see kids and adults liking it. The people making Steven Universe are the solution to what feminism has become, instead of bitching endlessly about other people's work not triggering them, and wanting to censor people who don't conform, they simply have made THEIR OWN content and left it up to judgement. That is what sjw's should do if they want to broaden their audience, quit bitching and make something of your own.

well I am 100% not down for any SJW/feminist bullstuff as it's dumb as forget, but for the 2 1/3 seasons I watched of it I got none of those vibes at all, it actually has some great writing/comedy/plot but it's not without it's flaws. but ye if you watch something with a bunch of female leads and feel that way then it's something wrong with you, unless it's deliberately obvious that it's being shoved in your face that their female, but that's not how this show is really.
