That's just like listening to someone explain something they've put work into and the explanation is actually pretty damn long, and all the audience says is "cream cheese." That, by definition, is being dismissive. The people who said that believe what the person said is unworthy of consideration, so all they said in return was "cream cheese" to further push that point.
