This happens occasionally. I think that the Colonial pipeline is a very major pipeline so the bursting there compared to other pipeline bursts are like your aorta getting cut vs your capilaries.

it was breezy today and leaves are falling, even though it's 85f lol

and now, time for everyone to go buy up all the gas, so nobody else can get any for the next couple of days, which is what is really causing the price to go up
