no im not talking about City RPG addon servers, im talking about those servers that have a city map and you're allowed to build a house and roleplay with people in them.
those servers were the reason i kept on playing blockland, and seeing that not a lot of them exist now is kinda sad.
examples are Cool Blockhead's Town RP, Enn's House Building, and Cannon666's Town RP.
i made so many friends on those servers and now i dont even see them anymore because a lot of the town RP's aren't being hosted anymore
am i saying that server hosts should spend their money and waste their time hosting a server again?
no.
hosting a server is a stressful job for people.
what i'm suggesting is that we should start reviving the genre and bringing back the community that was formed with the town RP servers.
(if people are willing to host Town RP servers, that is.)
and also before you go "eeewww RP is so gay xD"
town RP's were a lot more than just roleplay.
it taught people to be inspired by others and not only that but it taught people how to build too.
like i said earlier, i've made a lot of friends by joining town rp's.
because of town rp's i learned how to build decently well on blockland.
i mean, sure, there are town RP's here and there but they just have 1 or 2 people on them, not really a community.
who knows, maybe theres a town rp that runs when i'm not on blockland.
ive been inactive for months so i wouldn't know.
"wtf! you've been inactive for months and then you have the audacity to come here and say 'where did the Town RP's go??' disgusting!! do you know how many town rp's there were while you were inactive!!!!"
i usually go on blockland from time to time to see what servers are being hosted, most of them aren't really what i want to go on so every time i look at the server list i just exit blockland and move on to something else. though i have seen town rp's being hosted, they have a small player count, or no players at all.
so yeah guys, do you think town RP's should be revived?
