My campus network is being cunty as loving hell

I was just playing BL when the internet goes out. So I try to run it again, because I can still CLEARLY see the internet is on, and I get this:



So I check to see if the internet really is off. Lo and behold, I come up on a webpage that tells me that I have to download a "Policy Key" in order to start using the internet again. So I download it, and the internet comes back on for about two minutes. I go back to the same place only to have the same loving thing happen, and then I go to try to report this to the forums and as it turns out, forum.blockland.us isn't loving SECURE anymore. Not even loving god damn YOUTUBE is secure.

I shut off my computer and turn it back on. Then I get the same loving requirement to download the same loving key, and I do it again, and now I'm here. And I'll bet you a million loving bucks that this isn't the last of it.

Tell someone in charge of the campus about the internet situation. They probably got hacked. If not, slap them in the face for thinking youtube is not secure and not educational is any way.

wait, what? i'm not downloading a key that could be monitoring my internet traffic and passwords whether its some shady malware site or the school internet.

make sure to scan that thing for viruses, and make sure the school actually has an "internet key" lol. a school near me started passing out laptops that i'm 90% sure have spyware installed on them. a friend of mine had an identical laptop to the one they distributed and asked to just use it instead, and they refused because "the programs will be set up differently" or something.

if it is legit, try Tor to get around that stuff. it usually works. psiphon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psiphon) is how i get past the school firewall and it is insanely effective.
