Author Topic: tfw medecine leaves a bad taste in your mouth  (Read 3217 times)

I recently hit my head on a doorway, so I took some painkillers and despite my countless mouth-rinsing, the awful bitter taste still lingers... What's the worst medecine you've ever taken?

did you chew the pill or something?

did you chew the pill or something?

Yeah. It really hurt and if you chew it it gets into your bloodstream faster because it dissolves faster when it's all powder instead of in a plastic (or whatever it is) capsule.

you aren't supposed to chew the pill you dummy

dissolve faster =/= work faster
a lot of pills are made to be released/activated (activate your almonds kiddos) in the stomach

the pill gonna dissolve in the bloodstream and it gonna aerate the blood. OP gonna die

lol ok. Regardless of whether it works faster or not and whether or not I'm a complete idiot for thinking so, that doesn't change the point of this topic. Anyways. I remember having to take "bubblegum" flavoured cough medecine. Spoiler alert: whoever though that it was a good idea to label that bottle of vomit "bubblegum flavoured" hates kids.

i take sertraline and i pray to god they don't go on my tongue because the taste makes me loving sick let alone the smell jfc

speaking of nasty medicine I can't drink sunkist cus it tastes like that citrus flavored alka-seltzer lol wtf

man the first time i took a fish oil pill i chewed the capsule open, not only do i already strongly dislike seafood but it's loving fish oil

i used to have the nastiest tasting painkiller medicine back when i had to take liquid tylenol-3. stuff was worse than cough syrup and was almost as bad as liquid strep throat medicine.
