the clones were pretty much the coolest part of the prequels though. phase 2 armor is literally the coolest stuff.

star wars is chock full of cool ideas and concepts that lucas never touched on. a clone army is morally forgeted up, but everyone just kinda goes with it. what happens when these thinking, feeling humans want rights? shooty boy #23456789 wants to be a chef, not a soldier.

I personally think that all time from the clone wars (the end of attack of the clones) onward is like the cool stuff of star wars. Literally 85% of the canon star wars universe (that isnt in novel form) takes place during the clone wars and the jedi purge

i think its only cool because in the clone wars the good guys have a whole army and stuff and it feels like halo, but in the empire stuff the good guys are a ragtag rebel force. it doesnt feel as good

the clones essentially wiped the jedi off the face of the deep core. the stormtroopers have yet to kill a jedi

How are they supposed to wipe out the jedi if the clones did it first? Clones only missed about 4.

- Can barely see out of the helmet (which also looks ugly)
- Don't warn you to watch those wrist rockets
- Boring
+ Dark troopers are cool as hell (cyborg war vets with jumppacks and lighting guns)
+ Name is cooler
+ Not as lame as everyone thinks
+ Classic

Clones
- From the prequels
- Phase I armor was uncomfortable and obtrusive
- Backstory really doesn't make much sense (and ruined Boba Fett's original origin story)
+ Warn you to watch those wrist rockets
+ Were BAMFs in the old Clone Wars TV show (here is a Skillet AMV proving my point)
+ Colorful and varied (seriously. like dang dude, look at all these dudes. there are jousting clones)
+ Republic Commando. Enough said

I've watched this video and it's actually pretty interesting.
It talks about the history Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers and who would win in a fight against eachother.
