yeah i get scared every time my trucks at a quarter tank because the gas gauge is broke and stops at a quarter tank when gas is probably even less

My car has a built in idiot protection system where it automatically kicks itself into overdrive and beeps like crazy if I'm about to run out of gas. It's conditioned me never to leave it at one quarter tank because the sound is so damn annoying and it won't turn off until it leaves the 1/18th mark.
