DISCLAIMER:
this is not related to anyone in real life
this is a hypothetical scenario

if a corrupt person in a position of power has a certain type of corruption in that everyone benefits from it, should he or she be kicked out of office?

/discuss

by benefiting everyone you mean by them being corrupt or by them being kicked out
also how would them being corrupt benefit everyone if that's what you're asking

Corruption can't possibly benefit everyone.

Corruption can't possibly benefit everyone.
what if it's corruption in a corrupt government

what if it's corruption in a corrupt government
the other government officials lose

Government corruption by definition only helps those who partake in it. If it benefits everyone, it's not corruption.

the other government officials lose
sometimes strings have to be pulled for the good of the people. If your corruption benefits the general populace, you're a hero. if it benefits you and your oval office squad, then no

I don't think it would be considered corruption if it benefited everyone.  Otherwise it would be a part of their platform because everyone would approve it.

Scenario A: The government is so corrupt that you, as a leader, need to reform the system. Those who are already in power will oppose you and try to stop you at all costs, either by labeling you corrupt, lying, evil, etc.

Scenario B: The government is so corrupt that you, as a leader, decide not to reform it and just ride the wave, reaping all the benefits and kissing ass to other officials.

Scenario C: Charlie Wilson

if they're as corrupt as the bushes and clintons are, they should be hanged

if it benefits everyone then how is it corrupt
to answer the meant question then sure it's okay, if you kick them out of office you would be angering anyone credible

yeah. is there any example of corruption benefiting everyone?

yeah. is there any example of corruption benefiting everyone?
no, that's hardly feasible
plus as i said that wouldn't be corruption

it's more of a philosophical question than a scenario

it's impossible for corruption to benefit everyone

if you mean the general public, then I guess you'd be referring to figures like al capone and boss tweed
