american citizens' voting popularity does not represent itself? what?
uh..?

America, despite common conception, is not a democracy, but a representive republic.

Just because everyone cluster forgets into California, doesn't mean the rest of the country should fall to their bullstuff because they haven't left their mansions to see the real world.
This is the flaw in a population-only based democracy.

well our votes are supposed to represent our country's population so if a part has more people why shouldn't they get more voting power????

Christ this is possibly the most loving butt-hurt election ever like what the forget

I'll bet not one person who supports this actually knows why we have the Electoral College and as to how it has not failed after having it for 200+ years

idk where you live, but I'm assuming Not California. how does it feel knowing that your vote counts for less than a californian's thanks to the electoral college

Hey, being the state that turned it into a Annoying Orange victory isn't half bad.
Haven't been a red state in over 80 years.

Not failed as in it hasn't been abolished or planned to be up until now. But basically the only reason why they want it abolished now is "muh clintonnnnn" due to how loving butt-hurt people are after this election

or due to the fact that the majority of Americans chose one candidate and the other was elected???

that's literally impossible considering reagan won 49/50 in 1984

The media Lied to me once again.

It has failed every time the popular vote was different that the electoral vote. It should've been abolished the first time.

I guess that's what happens when you only read Breitbart
