I see what you're trying to say but the first statement is completely wrong. I never said they're sorting them by religion, nor did I ever imply it. I do not know what you're trying to get at there. Alright I did some looking into it and apparently using the word "Jews" would both be tribal and it wouldn't at the same time, due to it having a double meaning of a certain ethnic group, and it also meaning "people who follow and support judiasm." My point still stands though on which saying "Muslims are not good / civilized" is not tribal, due to the word "Muslim" only meaning people who follow Islam.

I'm not necessarily saying that, but calling him tribal when he doesn't like a religion is just a very ignorant thing to do. Saying he was a "xenophobe" or something else would be a more accurate thing to say. Racism is where you think a certain race (or multiple races) are inferior compared to everyone else, along with stereotyping them and discriminating them to. Racism doesn't have anything to do with religion.

If he were saying specific people were garbage, like Arabs or Syrians, then he would be a tribal. But in reality he was calling their ideology garbage and that 90% of the immigrants were garbage. Even though his percentage is highly amplified, he is not wrong that quite a few of immigrants that come in act like garbage due to the religion that they follow.

Because calling a person who doesn't like a religion does not make sense. He'd be tribal if he were saying "blacks are bad" or whatever, because racism actually matches up with that. A religion is not a race. Calling people who hate or dislike a religion a tribal, is ignorant of them to do.
