the USD in any form is already not based on any intrinsic value, and is already frozen, printed, inflated, deflated on a whim by a private corporation.
going 100% digital is no different then what we already do. there is no purpose to follow physical cash flow.

all that matters is how much spending value individuals like us have and know we have.

it sounds like you are billed after the fact? or at least on your amazon account, not necessarily a direct charge from a balance.
you could prob get away with that 1 time and not pay it off, but then you lose access to your amazon account and go into collections lol.

another problem i see with this is how the forget does it detect that you took something, somebody will find a way to grab something without adding it to their digital basket so they can run out of the store with it at no cost.
