Author Topic: My newer laptop is not starting up and making a beeping sounds Help  (Read 667 times)

honestly, this laptop I have is the stufftest laptop I've ever own and I am considering getting a new one for christmas.
So, this morning I was listening to music and my laptop making weird sounds and display shut off, so I unplug it (because it wasn't fully charged and it was at 0% because it wasn't charging for reason, I'll get to that later) and then plugged it back in and then I pressed the power button and then it loving started beeping for no reason and now everytime I tried to turned on the laptop it just beeps forever. I am typing this on my other laptop. I don't why my windows 10 laptop is being so stuffty, I got it for christmas of last year and then having these problems such as: faulty battery (when I unplugged the laptop when it's fully charged, it would shut off like 5- 10 mins later for no reason and it pissed me off so much) and then I got a new battery for my laptop and then my laptop started not charging fully because the charger wasn't up to date, but like later on, the it started charging to 100% and then it stop doing that and now it's at 0%, so anytime I unplug it, it will shut off and this stuff drives me so loving crazy. thanks for reading.

Best thing to do in this situation, is keep calm and go to wherever you bought the PC from and see if they can help you with it.

the thing is, my dad didn't buy it from the store, he ordered it online.

thats why i am obsessed with never letting a single device i own ever go below like 30% battery.
ps4 remote, phone, tablets, laptop whatever. rechargeable batteries of every type lose a little more capability every time you let  them burn out.

why your comp cant start up may just be because of an improper shutdown from the battery death.
maybe a windows repair usb would help you launch it. if the issue was completely about the power issue then it wouldnt have the power to even beep at you.

oh, I shouldn't have unplugged it. I just got scared when a weird sound from the laptop I never heard started coming at.

Do they have customer service? or a branch somewhere?

check if a key is on your keyboard is stuck.

only reason its beeping is because it's rejecting input of some type.

beeps have different patterns. they are startup notifications that alert us of certain hardware issues.
many times its as simple as ram not being inserted properly or a hardware change from a previous startup.

well, the only button that is really stuck is the start/power button, so I have to push it in a little harder.
