Author Topic: Space engineers is now in beta!  (Read 756 times)

So the myth that early acces games leave alpha is true
Basically:
Short campaign wich is fun
Redesigned blocks
Better multiplayer
Script stuff
Turrets can now be controlled

FPS is decent now and loading times are still handicapped

Better multiplayer
Turrets can now be controlled
the multiplayer is slightly better but its still absolute bullstuff since it totally breaks at speeds higher than 200 m/s
controllable turrets has been a thing for ages what are you on about

oh and you have to sit in a cryopod before logging off of a multiplayer server or else you lose everything
if the cryopod loses oxygen and/or power while you're gone you'll die instantly
crashing counts as logging off too
maxwell is more qualified to rant about how awful space engineers is than i am so he'll tell you more probably

Turrets can now be controlled

you've been able to do this for like a year now

this isnt new

I posted in the wrong board

To be fair they still haven't tackled the sim speed issue. That's something i've been on about for years now with them. You can't touch anything with a massive ship without the game loving itself over. Single player is fine for obvious reasons.
