ok, pomp, not gonna lie, your drawings are good and all but...

This looks like DeviantArt grade cringe.IDK what it is about it, but something about looking at it makes a little bit of me make a lemon-eating face.
I agree with blocky. I'll critique these and give advice.
Generally I'm okay with most of your non-lewd art, (i mean its not the best either but that's not important)

OK first image.
Well, can't say much about proportion, as it's topdown, however, that right foot is smaller than the left.
Actually, I just noticed, the eyes are somewhat large in this image, and the mouth is... strange. Also, too much blush. She looks like a very leafy tomato.
The linework is, well, awful. The toes seemed rushed, and the hands are disproportional.
To improve your lines, make like a million sketches before you use pen, or, practice the pose until you are comfortable with drawing it all. Varying line thicknesses are important! Seperate background from the character by thickening them a pinch, as well as clothing, or other things that are apart from the object behind it, (for example the arm on the stomach).
P.S if the paint isn't waterproof, why isnt sweat effecting it?
Eh. Next.

Oof. Theres lots to talk about here.
Did she break her arms? As I said before, practicing the pose would have prevented this.
Her eye covers like 50% of her face, and the blush is back. Also, you screwed up the hair, the little split was in the first one, but it seemed to have rotated 90 degrees. Hmmm... am I onto something with this tomato theory?
The mouth... doesn't express much, neither does the eye. The neck is also small, was this intended to be a side view at first? Practice those poses! Her legs stretch into the depths of the earth. They are also really big. I see you put more detail into the hands, but the lines still arent fluidly outlining the object they need to be outlining. Making the lines a tad thicker would help.
Not as thick as her legs though. Speaking of which, are those knees? Proportion comes AFTER anatomy class.

I'll deal with it, as soon as you improve!
Her shoulders got dislocated, too. Tragic. I don't have much to say here, it's just ''muuh anatomy'' and ''muuh practice'' etc etc.

Don't give up! Improve but dont force yourself. Draw when your brain is most active (after morning coffee, in the evening, its subjective) and try to teach yourself!

-lots and lots of advice-
I'll teake all that into consideration. In the past I was this arrogant prick who refused to take advice from anyone, but after seeing all my friends improve while I stayed stuffty at art, i decided to start accepting criticism from everyone except dark blockland guard 2

When I work on lewds, possibly due to my state of mind at the moment, I tend to draw a bit more hastily and put less care into it that normal. I think that when I work on normal pieces I'm much better.

(crosspost from drawings thread to show my normal level of art)

also I'm honestly shocked that this thread takes art criticism so much more seriously than the actual drawings thread

Maybe you shouldn't draw lewds for a while. Sometimes drawing bad can make you feel disencouraged and generally isn't good for your self esteem.
I haven't drawn in like a month because I couldn't draw for a week straight, because I kept trying to get the amazing end product I had envisioned in my head.
Patience is key in those moments, and you'll get that amazing thing you are desiring to achieve if you don't try to skip, or just rush vital steps to drawing (rough draft, basic linework, whatever).
But again, patience is exactly the thing you WONT have after screwing up so much, so take a break.

oh and uh, in those brakes, dont even think about looking at other peoples artwork..

I find your lack of noses disturbing

I find your lack of noses disturbing
The ability to respire nasally is insignificant next to the power of the moe.

What if they need to sneeze

literally they explode
or they grow a flesh mound of a nose, sneeze, and then it fall off

Shade = Thrown

why? drawing lewd stuff makes you learn a lot of things as an artist. more importantly it makes you learn some good anatomy, like the human muscles, faces, genitalia, and so on forth. and what is so bad about drawing lewd stuff? there is nothing bad about drawing any lewd stuff unless if it's some sort of sick forget levels of lewd where it's illegal. like i said, drawing lewd stuff can make you learn lots of things.

how does it make you feel discouraged and how does it lower your self-esteem? just asking, i drew lewds before and i didn't experience any of this

I'm not really going to touch on the lewds bit cause Time talked about that but uh

where is the logic in stopping drawing, even if just for a while, because you were disappointed with how a certain piece came out?

drawing is all about getting better, and the only way you're going to get better is if you draw- you should draw as much as you have things popping up in your head to draw. Being afraid of making something bad is useless because in the end you're never going to be satisfied with it as you become better and better with time.

It's as you said, patience is key- and that also means being patient with your work and understanding you aren't going to be slamming out Mona Lisa's right off the bat and taking the time to continue drawing to get better.

Sure, take a break if you're getting burnt out and frustrated, but you can save yourself a lot of frustration going into it and not expecting some absurdly grand stuff that you came up with in your head.

But yeah other than that it's better to not skip the foundations in your drawings. If you're doing lewds, take your time to do 'em good.

Except for this.

oh and uh, in those brakes, dont even think about looking at other peoples artwork..

If looking at other peoples art can get you less frustrated or anything like that, and inspires you, then go ahead and look at other peoples work and get back to that grind.
