Author Topic: forget the Sony Vaio  (Read 883 times)

forget the Sony Vaio.
I've had to replace the fan for 20$ each time.
and each time is 5 times.
this piece of stuff computer is the only one I loving have left and because I'm too poor to buy another computer, or even another loving fan, i'm stuck with this piece of stuff.
basically, every 4 weeks or so, the fan decides, "Hey forget you!" and just goes VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRRRRR RT until I fix it.
the fan is basically busted, and the worst part is, it's affected REALLY heavily while playing games. so, i'll be browsing the internet, and it's doing the normal fan thing: rrrrrrrrrrrr
and all of a sudden, for a split second: rrrrrrrrrVVVVT- and then stops.
now, i'd be okay with this, except that i'm not for this reason

Now i'm just playing Blockland or Garry's Mod, and it's nonstop VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRRT and I have to turn off the loving computer, because the touchscreen is always active (the slightest touch awakes it when asleep) (THANKS SONY VAIO)

it only does this for games.
how the forget do I fix this myself because i'm poor as forget and have no way to get money.
it's doing it as we speak.

well if it's a stuffty laptop it's not going to run games well. it's like yelling at a cripple for not being able to use the stairs

a stuffty laptop

and that's the funniest thing.
it runs games better than my old computer, which broke somehow

then clearly your old one was worse than your vaio ??
just save up for a new computer

sounds like the fan is off balance

if you're using it try to do it on a flat surface and make sure when you replace the fan that it's even in it's place

if those aren't working then give it a smack whenever it does that (not a firm smack, just a light one) and it might stop the "VVRRRRT" sound

I've been doing that

My first laptop was a Sony Vaio. Sounds like they've gotten worse. Maybe get a cooling pad for those spicy hot games. Also maybe check around online if you can disable the touchscreen.

sounds like you're not a fan of that laptop
