i used to own an alarm clock that made this typical alarm clock sound
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77S70NhRoBc
i had it since i was 13 years old and i broke it a year and a half ago when i was 16, so i basically had it for 3 years straight, waking me up every morning. i eventually broke it on purpose to be late for school and have an excuse
i got a new alarm that's a lot softer. however, every time i hear that old alarm sound anywhere (i hear it in TV shows a lot and sometimes on commercials) i literally have a panic attack and get really loving scared.
discuss alarm clock noises that really put you in a stuffty mood

Seriously forget that sound I hear it everywhere on radios, tv, and films. It's probably the only time I'm unironically triggered. My heart starts racing and I start feeling short of breath.

sometimes i'll forget to turn off my alarm when i wake up before it in the morning and it'll scare the living stuff out of me when it goes off

before i made this thread, i was watching an episode of adventure time which had a bird that sounded like that same alarm clock. i promptly turned the episode off and proceeded to have heartburn and shivers for the next 10 minutes until i made this thread
i still feel it what the forget

the ios alarm sound kinda pisses me off & makes me wanna throw my phone out the window, but I probably wouldn't say it gives me a "panic attack" lol
