Paint learns to model...

Ive always wanted to do this so I just installed MS3D. I need you guys to guide me and give me tips and answer my questions, as I am on the quest to become the ultimate modeller.
Here is the first model I have ever made [Meant to be of a lightsaber] - Not going to use it for anything - just testing how it works.

step1: don't be like this dude
step2: use whatever tool that fits you best, ms3d, blender, 3DSMax, you name it.

MS3D is being stupid and barely works - it also has little to no features helping noobs at it like me. Due to it messing up no update today, but maybe one tomorrow (with blender?)
