I've never had to port forward before and I have hosted a popular server but not uPnP has broken.

Well now you have to port forward because obviously uPnP doesnt work. What router is it? Are you using Verizon, AT&T?

I'm not allowed to Port Forward

Unplug your router, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. This solves most UPnP issues.

Then you will have to Port Forward.

Did you do what I said? When UPnP suddenly stops working, 99% of the time it is fixed by a router reboot.
