Those of us with self control have. For example I don't respond to Alternative because I know he's just trolling and stuffposting.
in order for that to actually work everyone needs to collectively ignore them, but that has yet to happen ever. one person falling for bait can and has repeatedly caused chain reactions that ruin threads. for example, lord tony will post a stupid ass political opinion and one naive boy will respond with a counter argument, but then somebody with an opposing political view usually ends up responding to that person's argument because they arent technically responding to lord tony.

feeding the troll would be directly responding to them in a serious way. joking at least makes it slightly entertaining, because god knows stocking isn't letting up anytime soon
its almost inevitable that someone will respond to baitthere will be many many many that will ignore it, but all it takes is oneand if not him, it would probably have been someone else
