Author Topic: What's the best rendering settings on vegas for small size + smooth compression?  (Read 251 times)

I just edited, rendered, and uploaded a GMod video to YouTube and found out that it had a lot of problems.
Right now I'm using the MainConcept AVC/AAC codec to render to MP4.
You'll notice while watching the video that there are weird compression artifacts when dark objects move against a light background, and on the physgun beam.
Is there a specific codec/setting that'll help this a bit without having a 70GB file (uncompressed AVI)? Or a specific setting?

This is basically exactly what I am using, except with a higher bit-rate.
Also I just realized I asked the worst people for this
