am I the only one who thinks that this narrator is annoying

so this guy narrates some of History Channel's shows, the ones I know of are "Ancient Aliens" and "Curse of Oak Island"
the way he narrates, he puts a forgetton of emphasis on practically every other word and it comes off as smarmy and offensively coddling (IMO)

Needs to have a high-frequency cutoff to make the S's and T's sound less sharp and annoying, but beyond that it's pretty decent narration for a downright stuffty series. (Talking about the first one. The second one seems to have fixed this.)
