you can enable it through your gpu control panel, but doing so will make EVERYTHING be forced to Anti-Alias, which makes the gui, text, etc look very blurry

No, you're doing it wrong then. If you're on nvidia, set it up like this:- antialiasing mode: override- antialiasing quality: 4x or 8x- antialiasing fxaa: off
