What Is Europa? Europa is one of the four galilean moons. It's surface is frozen in thick ice,
Approx 65 mi deep It however has no atmosphere, and was discovered : January 8 1610
And it is one of two smallest moons, being a bit bigger than Triton
Neptune's Moon And being a bit smaller than our moon, Luna (Europa Size : 3k km)
How is it important? Aside from being an icy moon, scientists speculate there may be life under it's icy surface, they believe that under all that ice,
there are vast, liquid oceans of water, due to it's core being warm, this may actually be possible do to the fact that earth does
contain creatures that live under the ocean and use the heat from Heat vents in the ocean.
So if this is possible, life
MAY Actually possible on Europa!, but the possiblity is doubtful.
