i'm willing to give that obamacare was a bit of a bodge job, but it wasn't useless, and the fact that millions of americans are likely going to be left without health insurance once again is sad, and i highly doubt that a substantial replacement will be introduced this presidency. of course, i won't complain if there is one, but i wouldn't leave it up to a conservative majority government to take it upon itself to establish public health insurance solutions, since obviously that tends to go against traditionally conservative ideology

Obamacare is literally a Conservative policy. It's a private insurance mandate. If anyone doubts that this will kill people--just think back to the government shutdown (also the fault of Republicans). People unable to receive their medication died as a result.

he's right though, Obamacare was coined by conservatives, and part of the reason why obamacare didnt work was because of the funding cuts and republicans blocking certain improvements. Without it, people could actually go months without health insurance and risk going broke if something happens to them.
