A woman in nevada died to a bacterial infection that was resistant to all FDA approved antibiotics, meaning that it was resistant to almost every single antibiotic except the 2 or 3 in-development ones that the CDC is keeping for testing.

The post-antibiotic era started like 2 years ago with the massive infections happening around the world but this time it's closer to home. Expect a stuffstorm in the near future.

I would start buying rations and preparing if i were you.

it's been confirmed: russia's attacking america with biological warfare to blame it on the middle east

the worst part about it is that it's a huge imminent issue we are about to face in the next 10 years. Once a strain of resistant bacteria comes around, it'll start jumping from person to person and pretty soon all the major urban centers in the world are going to collapse. we're at 7 billion people, if a plague hits now it'll be devastating.

Also surgery/childbirth/transplants wont work anymore because you can die from infections

so what can i do to not die

The thing about antibiotic resistance is that once one bacteria manages to develop it, due to its huge evolutionary advantage, it will spread like wildfire.

Because other bacteria that are not resistant will die, the resistant bacteria will also have no competition on resources

what if we make an antibiotic-resistant-resistant antibiotic

sweet, i live in nevada
see u guys on the other side

i repeat: how the forget do i not die.

i repeat: how the forget do i not die.
the only way to survive is to avoid making contact with other humans

Hopefully this stuff will be contained, also im getting some insane Plague INC vibes rn.
