I was raised Christian but I lost faith in middle school. I would call myself an agnostic atheist now, though I definitely have a spiritual side. I think religion is a cool social construct, something like a government but spanning millennia and rooted in community and faith. As for deities, I see no evidence for or against unfalsifiable beings. Wouldn't surprise me if one existed, though whether they are worthy of worship is up in the air.
I respect religious folk and generally just keep my mouth shut. Oftentimes a person's faith is pretty personal; I'd hate to belittle that. The only religious system I'll straight up call bullstuff is creationism, as somebody currently pursuing a degree in evolutionary biology.
Also anybody who claims "something can't come from nothing" doesn't understand the Big Bang theory. It posits the universe came from a singularity if I'm not mistaken, and quantum fluctuations initiated its expansion. Or some stuff. I take nobody's opinion on the conception of the universe seriously except for physicists. I'll admit my own opinion on the universe's creation is irrelevant.
