Blockland is Dying Thread number 268

Except modter is much more laggy, not infinite, usually uglier than a lot of old maps, has awful collision with vehicles, and takes much longer to build a map out of than to use the old editors for maps.

Resize that bruh.

Stop bitching at Badspot for not wanting to pour countless more hours into an already completed game and go make some OC yourself if it chafes your richardhole that much. He's got better things to do with his time than to become a bleeding heart to all the old time players that want new stuff because they say so.
Problem is there are tons of people trying to create new content, see .dlls and stuff, but when people ask him to add things to the game that would open up more possibilities he doesn't do it.  I would loving love if he made BL open source but that has its own problems, especially with the stuff people have already done.

People seem to keep missing the point of what I am trying to out across. That over sized Image was ment to point out that
1. There is only 2 ways to contact him
2. There is no possible way he would pass on the title of DEV to someone else.

reread your posts before you actually post them when you're on mobile otherwise you're going to end up with a failure like this one

maybe you should just resize the damn image

badspot does not own the rights to the TGE so he cannot make it open source.

I don't think that using a table breaking image size is very conducive to making a point.

There, fixed. You bloody happy now?
I couldn't resize the image cause I wasn't on my PC till now.

He doesn't have to do it because this is his game and he's decided it's a finished product

Sorry you want him to pull stuff out of his ass to make gameplay .5% better

I don't think Badspot being active as a developer is going to do anything to make the game more active. Even when we were still getting updates, Badspot himself rarely actually played the game. I guess there was just more people making servers back then? Or it just seems like there was? Either way it's not really the developers responsibility to keep the community active at this point. Badspot cared about this game for ten bloody years, what more do you want? Though I was hoping they would improve the vehicle physics eventually.

That being said, I do get the sense that there's been some kind of decline. Running a sever now is different than it was years ago. It's become like running a business. People fill out admin applications. There are actual running costs. A lot of them involve downloading client side mods just for that server and often a stuff ton of reading just to understand the game. Most new concepts get hosted a lot for a couple weeks, then disappear forever. I don't know if there's really less servers, or if they've just become less casual (and they all seem to be run by the same people). There's still plenty of things to pick from, but idk it's gotten a little weird.

i mean, i'd gladly pay an extra $20 to fund further development
