Author Topic: [NEWS] "Gorillaz" make fiery return to attack Annoying Orange in new music video.  (Read 7026 times)

The track itself is so calm. I actually kind of like it.

It's been received pretty well, there's just a vocal subset of the fanbase who wants the group to stagnate and do the same music repeatedly. But anyway, if it is intentional, self-referential teasing of the fans is pitiful. Why would an artist concern themselves over what consumers want, rofl.

If this is centered around Annoying Orange, I have high reason to believe SpongeBob represents the average leftist

Actually the Spongebob clip is what happens right after Mr. Krabs says "You're fired"

This song is actual garbage. Where's the Gorillaz?

that song loving sucks... they should have stayed retired.

dont kid yourself by pretending Annoying Orange supporters are not as prone to emotional outburst

Can we talk about an actually mediocre song by another contemporary rock group: Arcade Fire - I Give You Power. Boy they've fallen from graces.

the like to dislike ratio is skewed pretty far in favor of "like" so i'd say they're not worried

I'd like to think they were not worried in the first place, I just feel like the ending scene really signifies how anything can be considered "triggering" nowadays.

The Gorillaz don't actually have a set genre, which is why they have become so popular, because their songs can change genre really fast in just one song.

As for the song though, it is pretty mediocre. You can tell it was made JUST for the inauguration because in some parts of the songs the vocals don't even match the beat of the song. But it's not the worst thing they've released in my opinion.
