Author Topic: MTA raises the loving subway fare 25 cents  (Read 3885 times)

so for context half of ny doesn't own a vehicle because there's no parking spots and the traffic is horrible. all of us have to take the subway and bus instead which is its own loving issue already.

the fare per ride was 2.50 a year ago, then it raised up to 2.75, now they're planning on making it 3 loving dollars. that's 10 dollars extra a month and we take the subway about 2-3 times every loving day

i cant keep up with these price hikes, somebody kill me already

If you can't miss 10 bucks a month then you should move somewhere

the hell

I've been to NYC and had to use the subway like 4 times a day, the price hike is nuts lol

Also biking in NYC is very challenging, the taffic and pedestrian density is so loving high that you need to be a damn pro just to not get ran over

No working class human being can cope with a 10 buck loss a month. that's two whole lunches lost

buy a bike perhaps
i'd do that if i wanted to hit a car door and break my neck

ny sounds like trash tbh
It isn't, just there's so much people there that it's in a constant traffic jam

At night though there's much less traffic and the city still feels very much alive lol

the first day I got to NYC me and my dad were going around the streets at 2am trying to find some food to buy for dinner, and I thought it was 10pm from how active the city still was

not to mention you have to have a place to park it and lock it, which isn't always easy in nyc.
