Author Topic: tech savvy people: help me make my graphics tablet work before i go insane  (Read 588 times)

i've spent about an entire day on this bullstuff now and i am 150% out of ideas

i have an aiptek graphics tablet (the aiptek 10000u) as well as the exact same tablet except made by silvercrest (a lidl producer or something)

after a forget ton of work i somehow got it to work on my other pc, but that pc is now kill so i have to do it all over again

i've tried pretty much everything i can think of - using the drivers cd that the aiptek one comes with, finding a newer aiptek driver online, uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting ten billion times forget me i've done everything

the best i've gotten it at any point (incl. rn) is to a point where the tablet works properly in windows store bullstuff like windows ink or whatever, and has no pressure sensitivity in anything else (and also paint tool sai, my preferred application, just kills it)

please help me while i still have hair on my head

well, i've finally managed to solve all of my issues using a combination of two drivers.. software? things.

i doubt anyone on this forum will ever actually have the same issue, but hey someone might google this stuff, so:
the way i solved my driver issue for the aiptek medita tablet 10000u / silvercrest gta2000 / targa whatever the forget god damn this tablet has a million manufacturers:
- the macro key manager thing from here http://www.dukane.com/av/service/productdownload.asp?Model=AS3 for the actual functionality of the tablet
- the driver and stuff from here http://www.aiptek.eu/index.php/en/products/archive/archive-graphic-tablets/mediatablet-10000u#documentation-driver-software for being able to change the tablet's screen area
