Final Fantasy Kingsglade or something.
Sci-fi Fantasy, bout the fall of a kingdom. stuffs cool yo.

If you haven't seen the following, you need to see them:

2001: A Space Odyssey
Blade Runner
The Thing
Alien
Aliens
Predator
The Matrix
Star Wars (obviously)
The Terminator
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Interstellar
Back to the Future

My dad is big into 80s movies, so one time we were eating lunch at Wendy's and I told him that I had never seen the first Terminator. He told me how I make him feel like he's failed me as a father and then proceeded to take the chair he was sitting in and beat me down mercilessly right there in public, just for not having seen the movie. One of the many reasons to always sit at a booth and not a table.

I definitely recommend all of those, though. Great movies right there.

Starship Troopers is great.

Why not go with a classic?

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (looks pretty bad but I'm still gonna see it).

Dune, whilst not the best SciFi movie by far, it's certainly defining of the genre at the time.
Huh? No, it's actually really mediocre. You might be confusing it for the conceptualized Dune film by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
