Author Topic: Phanto probably has diabetes  (Read 2532 times)

so for context i'm in my senior year of high school and i'm failing most of my classes. most of the time i'll come through 2 hours late with edibles, so of course i have to buy 20 bags of skittles.

the entire day is super boring and if i don't have sugar or snacks time slows down and i get really depressed. i essentially have a sugar addiction at this point. I spend around 25-30$ a week on snacks and 5 hour energy. I give away half of my candy because most of the time i get sick and can't eat any more, but im still consuming well over 500 grams of sugar a day

i think i should see a nutritionist, but honestly i can't be assed to set up an appointment much less pay for it.

fun fact: most people will remember but i used to drink a little bit of lean here and there. i stopped a year ago because the price hiked plus i was getting sick every day and missing a lot of school, but i probably have a broken liver by now. dunno if sugar will make it worse

you have to see help before this becomes worse. you might develop a further illness like diabetes or a mental illness like bulimia. 16-24 is the age where most mental problems start to rise. i really suggest you dont sit this out

i also gained about 20 pounds the last month, but i don't believe in bulimia plus i hate sticking objects into my throat

...you dont believe in bulimia?

Not believing in cancer doesn't cure it, it's not like mental illnesses are any less real than physical ones.

i mean that i don't purge food ever

if i eat a ton of food i'll just deal with it like a trooper, im not going to pusillanimous individual out and throw it all up

im not saying you have it im saying there is a possibility you can get it, just as much as diabetes. and those two really arent the only possible results either.
this really is an ultimatum situation where you either just stop, cold turkey or with help from professionals, or you just get sick, maybe permanently, or get fat, maybe permanently too.

go to school and eat real food

oh

yeah i keep trying to stop but i can't, stuff is so loving boring without snacks. doctors are too expensive, idk what to do

go to school and eat real food
'school' and 'real food' shouldn't be in the same sentence

chain yourself to the wall for a week with only non-sugary foods and water

theres your solution you no-control sucko

that doesn't sound like diabetes to me (source: dad has diabetes and i've been tested for it several times so i'm probably a professional) but you should see a doctor if you're worried regardless

When you say "edibles" do you mean marijuana? Also, I know school can be boring but that's the point. You go to school to learn, not to have fun. If you forget up high school, you forget up the rest of your life and since it's your senior year, you don't have much time to fix your stuff. Get on it dude.

school is a waste of time. if school wasn't in the way i'd be working full time and earning a lot more dough than i am right now

i'd probably go to a trade school but im super lazy and school is boring

Even if you are working full time with no school in the way, how long will you be able to support yourself with that job? Enough to buy a house? Support a partner? Think in the long run dude, it's not like I have no idea what I'm talking about, I speak from experience.
