how?? overwatch is literally the only thing I have a windows partition for still.
they applied some patches with some custom wine build, I wouldn't say it's perfect but near.

like Mei has a problem where her textures really mess with your screen and you only can run it on low, other than that it's made a ton of progress in such a small span of time.

I once knew a guy, who would created his own personal Distro of Linux, and it looked like Windows, but ran like a Mac.

The worst of both worlds? He must have been miserable.

i remember finding a distro a while ago that looked exactly like a mac, but instead of the apple logo, it was like... a pear?

i can't remember what the hell it was, and i can't find it on the internet, so i'm going to assume it's

a. something i will never find

or

b. murdered by apple's DMCA team

i use kali so linux is a big thing for me lately

iCarly was the stuff back in 2008 (?). If you didn't watch it, you probably had no childhood.

Why Kali? It's such a PITA, especially because installing some packages will break everything and cause it all to uninstall. Use Elementary OS, or Debian.

Is there anything specific that causes the scenario where installing/uninstalling packages to break other packages? I've literally had to reinstall distros over this problem and I wish I could know what causes it.

Directx wont work very well on linux because Directx is Macrosoft's crappy.

I absolutely hate Linux mostly because i'm so accustomed to Windows. I only use it for servers.

Have you tried some very easy distributions or desktop environments? I know Unity (as bad as it is), GNOME, and Zorin OS are very simple and easy to navigate.

I've been thinking about making this a "Unix General" thread, as some people use MacOS and BSD distributions. Should I?
