In the 1st grade I brought a dart gun that looked like a revolver to school. At the time I had no idea that it was wrong and I was just let off with a warning and my toy got confiscated forever

go to a local sporting goods store. in america an example is big 5's or sports authority. you can usually find BB guns there, or real ones if you're going to a real outdoorsy one.

since you're getting it from a store you can likely return it after your project is done. check online first ofc though if they even stock bb guns

yeah toy guns that look sort of real are really easy/cheap to find here in america. dollar stores usually have a couple options, or toys r us or any store like walmart or something would prob have them
