Author Topic: [BREAKING NEWS] New controversial Netflix show "Dear White People" turning heads  (Read 21680 times)

Wasn't this a college humor joke like 4 years ago???????
That would explain why the show looks just as stuffty.

I take it you like this new netflix series?
Nope. Why would you think that?

I take it you like this new netflix series?
well i am not personally offended this teaser or trailer or whatever this stuff is did not catch my interest at all

looks like a stuff show
:)

Nope. Why would you think that?
Because you clearly think that I'm the only one who unsubscribed from netflix (not the youtube channel. their service.)

Just take a look at The comments.
And if you want more solid proof, I'm sure when the Stock Exchange opens tommorrow Netflix is going to have a massive drop.

see I just made a post about this stuff and they still do it

I solved this, this shouldn't be a problem anymore

make more Voltron you braindead cunts, it's what people like (it's what I like)

You underestimate the impact a few crybaby snowflakes have on a multi-billion dollar company.

i was wrong it wasn't a collegehumor skit but an actual full fledged comedy

now i can die peacefully

The movie this is based on was pretty mediocre when it comes to satires (way too obnoxious to be funny or insightful), but why would anybody cancel their Netflix subscription over this? I'm kinda confused as to why I would want to lose access to a bunch of original and existing content over one dumb show?

Anyways, I doubt this generates much interest outside of the "woke" SJWs and the rabid anti-SJWs who just love targeting stuff like this. Atlanta's a much better show.

I'm not gonna stand for clearly tribal propaganda, and I'm sure as hell not gonna pay for that trite.

dear black people

here's a list of acceptable Halloween costumes

  • gangbanger
  • deadbeat parent
  • any of our previous incarcerated killers (of specifically black people)

top of the list of unacceptable costumes

me

*cue footage of white people golfing and playing DDR*

condescending attitudes are definitely not the way to go about presenting your beliefs but if you think that's on par with what they're saying you're probably too sensitive to be listening to racial politics.

like what she said in the trailer wasn't condescending

it was, she's literally telling white people what to wear
what kind of power does she have to tell me what I can and cannot dress like?

owait she's a minority so it's ok for her to do it but when I do it it's condescending and tribal

you misinterpreted my post. i agreed that the show's over exaggeration and satirical nature comes off as condescending, but if you believe the things said in that 30 second trailer are as "tribal" as the things you wrote in that post, you are being overly sensitive and by extension proving many of the points that the show brings up (if its anything like what i knew about the movie)
