>when u directly insult your main demographic

good job netflix

Because you clearly think that I'm the only one who unsubscribed from netflix (not the youtube channel. their service.)

Just take a look at The comments.
And if you want more solid proof, I'm sure when the Stock Exchange opens tommorrow Netflix is going to have a massive drop.
if you suddenly hate netflix because of one single show you'd not be worth keeping anyways lmao

He doesn't like their business decision so he's dropping their service. Is that not what you should do if you don't agree with where a service is going?

from what he said i was heavily under the impression that he watched the shows before and now suddenly hate the whole of netflix, and all of its content
sure stopping the flow of money to them is logical if you don't like them but it's one damned show out of thousands of what many consider good content

it's one damned show out of thousands of what many consider good content

It's 'one damned show' that's directly posing as an insult to white people because of their skin color. Can you not fathom why people would feel insulted enough to cancel their subscription? I'm on Matthew's side on this, this is completely ridiculous and stupid.

not really, i think it's petty to stop doing something you like because an idiot screwed up, or an starfish showed up
i'd understand it if suddenly 10 new shows about how white people suck showed up on everyone's "recommended" list, but it's something obscure and easily avoidable

my dentist is more than slightly tribal, i disagree but i don't cancel something that's otherwise going perfectly fine

I've never seen Master Matthew so reactive towards racism

i saw that ninja ya forgetin hater

Racism only matters if it's against you, apparently.

This wasn't a mistake though, Netflix purposely took on the series. They're enabling this tribal vocal point by giving the show a soapbox. If people want to tackle racism, there can't be any double standards; the inverse of this situation with a "Dear Black People" series would be nationally disparaged and criticized.

It's posts like these that absolutely make me and others see this as a 'liberal circlejerk', because that is exactly what it seems.
You're completely overlooking the situation because "white people aren't supposed to get mad about anti-white racism" and at the same time you completely ignore
our point against the fact that any true tribal mindsets are bad, but they can't be enforced to this extreme otherwise you cross a line.

I would still be pissed if I started seeing stuff like this, because this would impose a mentality to force 'X-Race" to stop being 'tribal' Purely on their race, which not only in it of itself is loving handicapped hypocrisy, but its so loving Orwellian to impose the 'Don't cross the line or you will suffer' mentalities. This is an embarrisement to netflix, and more importantly an obvious attack on white people for the sake of 'stoping racism.'

This has less to do with "wah I'm a white person, WAH!' and more to do with this loving obvious attempt to force tribal based walls. This will end up creating a border between the races, and result in sending us back 40-50 years back in our actual societal progress.

I feel like racism affects everyone to a certain degree. To be honest i'd be pretty pissed if netflix made a show called "Dear Black People" so i can't imagine how white people must feel about this show. It's not the same as forcing white people to work for a lower wage or lynching them from trees, but even some amount of verbal or ideological antagonization goes a long way to make a white dude feel subhuman.

All in all racism is universally stupid and there's no race karma that black people are allowed to utilize against whites.
well said
