7 : some images didnt load, but they do on my wii u
8 : ending internet explorer in task manager caused it to create 3 more and i couldnt end 2 of them
9 : shutting down caused file explorer to duplicate in the 'ending programs' menu

"factory reset" lol

run antivirus software
i hope ill be able to at all

If the machine is running slow in general or having more stutters, it's possible it could be as simple as a failing hard drive.  I would just recommend backing up your stuff and getting a new drive sooner than later, should help.

This is likely the cause by the given symptoms.  I also recommend backing up your data (if possible,) and doing a full SMART test on the drive you're using.

i just wanted to point out that we have similar usernames

just do a reset, it's the best to do.

Try:
  • Running chkdsk (put chkdsk /F in command prompt, if you get unrecoverable errors your hard drive is probably dying). I'd also, just to make sure, do a SMART test of the drive.
  • Running Memtest86 (test memory, see if it's bad)
  • Running a good antivirus (you never know if a malware is messing with your system)
I'd honestly run chkdsk first, because from what you're saying it definitely seems like your hard drive is going bad. Back up any data you can as fast as possible if that is the case before it's too late.

actually its because the laptop goes into sleep mode when i press the power button, when i turn it back on, its slow as forget, but it works perfectly fine when i shut it down entirely.
I managed to actually get AVAST working. it's doing a scan right now.

I can't do chkdsk /F because I dont have the priveledges
I don't know how to run memtest86
yeah

Can you run CrystalDiskInfo? http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html

avast scan has completed, and there are no viruses. just computer optimization issues or whatnot, but the window for that didnt load so i dont know exactly what
oh and no blockland still cant authenticate
how do i check for if something is blocking it?
