At over 1 million signatures, this has absolutely destroyed the previous Whitehouse.gov record.
Sign the petition and put pressure on our government to make political transparency a real issue.

is there any reason to not want to sign this

if you're a fascist, I guess. if I was a Annoying Orange supporter I would be demanding this more than anyone. he himself promised to release them once in office.

Another reason is you're a normal person who doesn't give a stuff about tax returns

Every major candidate in modern history has released their tax returns so that we can verify our Presidents are not gathering illicit funding. I think you'd be hopping up and down with rage if Hillary Clinton promised to release hers and later refused to do so for the likely purposes of concealing hidden funding. It's a fundamental matter of government accountability and transparency.

What you mean is that you don't care when a candidate you LIKE doesn't reveal his returns. This is one step on the short path towards autocracy.

I wouldn't

So you wouldn't care if he was skirting tax law? Does that make him savvy in your mind?

If he was skirting tax law then I wouldn't like it, but that doesn't chance my stance that I don't care if he releases his tax returns or not. Same if anyone else got elected.

Ignorance is bliss?

Ignorance is bliss?
Not what I'm saying

If he releases his tax returns and it turns out he was skirting something, then ok that's stuffty
If he doesn't release his tax returns then okay so be it, nothing to get worked up over and sign 50 petitions over

for someone who want's transparency in the government but ignores information leaks and whistleblowers this is ironic af lol

he heavily implied that he did, which is why he wouldnt release his tax returns, but apparently you didn't catch that?
