Author Topic: grades are kinda garbage rn - help me stay in honors  (Read 2576 times)

I just briefly look over the stuff I've learned and if something catches my eye that I'm not sure about/have forgotten then I focus on it until I don't have problems with it anymore

it saves time by skipping over stuff you already know

what is honors

very slightly more challenging version of a class that gives you a 0.5 bump on your gpa if you pass it

From what I've experienced taking academic science classes: if you like a subject, always take honors or above if you can. If you take academic a grade lower than you're supposed to, you'll be stuck in a class with barely anybody you know, none of which care about the subject, and a teacher who knows nobody cares.

what is gpa and whyd you want bumps on it, my doctor always tells me to check for those

look at tHAT SWEET BIOLOGY GRADE

and somehow i get this:

Don't ask here. There's no one here but you that can change the outcome of your grades. Asking here means you lack the self motivation to actually do your forgetin' work. Nut up or shut up.

I have a 4.2 right now but I ended last semester with a 3.0

Better start studying, that's literally all it is. Study and keep studying, develop good study habits before you go to college (If you plan on going idk) because if you don't it'll only get harder, when there's only test grades and nothing else to keep your grade up.

I'm shocked at the lack of hacking jokes. You should be ashamed to call yourself school-aged.
In case it wasn't obvious, it's a joke. I'm actually proud of you guys.

Treat school like a job. 9-5 you should be working and that still leaves you A LOT of time to forget around and do whatever.

Here is a tip: First off Log off the forums (or the internet in general)  and study.

I graduated with like a 2.6 lol

graduated with a 3.698 but i just tell everyone it was a 3.7-- one of my homeboys finished with a 2.3 i think :/

anyways, bully a nerd into doing your homework for you. treat school like a game. 9-5 you should be sleeping; forget around excessively

^ this. the increased homework load of such available classes scared me off - seeing as incomplete/not-turned-in hw was already the bane of my grades - but i wish i'd tried anyways

How about you stop bein' a little bitch?

that's much easier said than done, considering that school has a much weaker incentive to continue than an actual job
