the only thing I can think of is what alteration said, the caps are charged enough to keep the phone on or at least the screen

The battery in my phone is forgeted up if it gets below like 40% it'll shut off and it'll have like 4% when I turn it back on

my grandma retired one of her old desktops in about 2005-ish and a few years ago I plugged it in before throwing it out and it still had the correct time.
