The closest I've ever come to fainting was when the doctor took an infected blood sample by slicing open the tip of my finger with a thin razorblade propelled through a tube almost like a needle. My finger began bleeding profusely--and then he tightly gripped my hand and finger, forcing more blood through the open wound. It didn't hurt--it just made my whole body go numb. It made me feel dizzy and nauseous. My hand began purple and swollen as the blood gathered by his strong grip, being forced towards the open wound. I watched as an entire lab tube filled up with dark red blood pouring from my cut finger as he slowly kneaded more and more into the tube like he was drawing milk from a cow. Darkness grew at the corners of my eyes and my vision became very narrow. I couldn't stand up for a bit afterward. I felt like vomiting.
Other than that it was fine though. Have fun giving blood dude!
