oh forgetin stuff i gave blood

last time i gave blood was for a physical. the needle went into my arm and it missed, so the nurse moved it out but not before strumming the vein she was aiming for like a guitar. i noticed that i have a very small and a nearly unnoticeable bump on my forearm where the vein is if i stretch my arm out.

speaking of which i need a physical again. im not sure if ill be able to go through a blood drawing again

Most annoying needle for me is the morphine I got when my arm broke. That hurt like a biiiitch.

i broke my arm almost two years ago and the doc gave me painkillers through an iv bag and it didnt hurt like at all compared to ny arm

Drink lots of water
Eat breakfast or lunch depending on what time your going to give blood
Avoid sugar and caffeine before they draw it because it can make your veins more difficult to get blood from

This is the stupidest idea you can ever give. You need to be fasted to be able to give blood. Eat and drink AFTER the donation. Never before. After donating blood, eat the biggest mofukin breakfest you've ever eaten in your life.

wait do they really? because i'm like, the most pain-sensitive person ever. when i had to get an IV in at the hospital, the nurses had to pin me down and cover my mouth to try to muffle my screams because it hurt SO BAD

I used to bawl my eyes out when getting Injections but nowadays its just a slight grimace

Also had my blood drawn for lab tests but never for blood donation
